- Heartland worsted yarn from Lion Brand
- 5mm (H8) crochet hook (or whatever size is needed to obtain gauge)
- scissors
- 3.15″ plastic bauble
- stitch marker

Front Post Treble Crochet (Fptr)
- Yarn over twice.
- Insert your hook from front to back and then to the front again around the post of the designated stitch.
- Yarn over and pull up a loop (youโll have 4 loops on your hook).
- Yarn over, pull through 2 loops (3 loops remain).
- Yarn over, pull through 2 loops (2 loops remain).
- Yarn over, pull through the final 2 loops.
Half Double or Double Crochet 3rd Loop Only (hdc 3rd loop, dc 3rd loop)
Work a hdc or dc as normal, except insert your hook into the very back loop (the third loop).
Single Crochet decrease (sc dec)
Insert hook into the next stitch, pull up a loop, insert hook in next stitch, pull up another loop, yo, pull through all 3 loops on hook.

Make a magic circle. Ch 1.
Round 1: work 9 hdc in circle, join with sl st to first st, ch 1. (9 hdc)
Round 2: work 2 hdc in each st around, join with sl st to first st, ch 1. (18 hdc)
Round 3: work 2 hdc in first st, 1 hdc in next st. [2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st], repeat from [ to ] around, join with sl st to first st, ch 1. (27 hdc)
Round 4: work 2 hdc in first st, 1 hdc in each of next 2 sts [2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in each of next 2 sts], repeat from [ to ] around, join with sl st to first st, ch 1. (36 hdc)
Round 5: work 1 hdc 3rd loop in first st and in each st around. Join with a sl st to first st, ch 2. (36 hdc 3rd loop)
Round 6: work 1 dc 3rd loop in the first st and in each st around. Join with a sl st to first st, ch 1. (36 dc 3rd loop)
Round 7: work 1 sc in first st and in each st around, join with a sl st to first st, ch 2. (36 sc)
Round 8: work 1 dc in first st. Work 1 Fptr around the second dc from 2 rounds below. Alternate 1 dc and 1 Fptr all the way around, ending with a Fptr in the last st. Join with a sl st to first st, ch 1. (18 dc, 18 Fptr)
Round 9: repeat Round 7.
Round 10: work one Fptr around first dc from 2 rounds below. Work 1 dc in next st. Alternate 1 Fptr and 1 dc around, ending with a dc in the last st. Join with a sl st to first st, ch 1. (18 dc, 18 Fptr)
Rounds 11: work 1 hdc in first st and in each st around. Join with a sl st to first st, ch1. (36 hdc)
Round 12: repeat Round 5.
Round 13: continuing to work in the 3rd loop, work 1 sc dec over first 2 sts and over every 2 sts around. Insert bauble into cover. Join with a sl st to first st, ch 1. (18 sc dec)
Round 14: working under both loops again, repeat Round 13. Fasten off. (9 sc dec)
