Crochet Wine Bottle Holder
The holidays are fast approaching and it’s time to get into gift-making mode!
I live in wine country and am a hobby wine taster 🙂 I often like to gift my wine-loving friends and family members wine from my area. Of course – as a crocheter – I can’t just ‘hand over’ a bottle of wine without making a fun outfit for it, now can I??
For the Christmas season, I thought it would be fun to make a pretty wine bottle sweater and top it off with some faux fur trim for a nice, festive look. It makes the wine bottle look nice and cozy too!

What colors to use for the crochet wine bottle sweater?
You do not have to use the same colors as me! Just pick ONE main color and one trim color (the faux fur). Since I originally designed this to sell at Christmas time in my Etsy shop, I chose Christmas colors. However, I swapped out the Christmas colors for pink-on-pink for Valentine’s Day.
Don’t want to use the yarn suggested? Or do you have yarn at home to use up? No worries. You can use any worsted-weight cotton yarn for the main portion of the wine bottle holder and any faux fur yarn as long as it’s not super bulky.
That’s it for now my friends! Now, go pick your favorite colors and let’s make this fun crochet wine holder.
