- 5mm (H8) crochet hook (or whatever size is needed to obtain gauge)

- 3.15″ plastic bauble
- stitch marker

Round 1: work 10 hdc in circle, join with sl st to first st, ch 1. (10 hdc)
Round 2: work 2 hdc in each st around, join with sl st to first st, ch 1. (20 hdc)
Round 3: work 2 hdc in first st, 1 hdc in next st. [2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st], repeat from [ to ] around, join with sl st to first st, ch 1. (30 hdc)
Round 4: work 2 sc in first st, 1 sc in each of next 2 sts, [2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each of next 2 sts], repeat from [ to ] around, join contrast color with sl st to first st, ch 1. (40 sc)
Rounds 5: work 1 sc in first st, ch 1, sk 1 st, [sc in next st, ch 1, sk 1 st], repeat from [ to ] around, join main color with sl st to first st, ch 1.
Round 6: work 1 sc in last ch 1 worked from previous row, ch 1, [sc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1], repeat from [ to ] around, join with sl st to first st, ch 1.
Round 7: repeat Round 6, join contrast color with sl st to first st, ch 1.
Rounds 8-13: repeat Rounds 5-7 two times.
