Cluster Crochet Stitch Tutorial

The Cluster Crochet Stitch
The Cluster Crochet Stitch is defined by the grouping of stitches into a single space, forming a cluster that stands out against the fabric. This technique allows for the creation of beautifully textured patterns, such as blankets, scarves, cowls, and more.
Using just a one-row repeat, this is an easy stitch to master. So grab your yarn and hook, and let’s make a practice swatch!
Let’s learn how to make the cluster stitch! Scroll down for the step-by-step instructions of this easy crochet stitch.

Step 1: Ch any even number.
Step 2: Working into the second ch from the hook, work one sc in each of the next 2 chs.

Step 4: Sk the next ch.

Step 5: Work one sc in the next ch.
Step 6: Ch 1.

Step 7: Continue to repeat steps 4-6 until the last ch.
Step 8: Work one sc in the very last ch. Ch 1 and turn. Ch 1 does not count as a st.

Step 9: (Row 2) Work one dc in the the first st.
Step 10: Locate the ch-1 space from the first row.

Step 11: Yo and insert your hook in that ch-1 sp and pull up a loop.
Step 12: Yo and pull through two loops. Two loops remain.
